The process to have your driver’s license reinstated can vary from person to person, but here are some things that you may be required to do.

·     You must finish out your driver’s license suspension period before you can start the process of having your license reinstated

·     You must enroll in the “first offender program” if this is your first DUI offense or a different program if you have had multiple offenses.

·     Get the minimum liability coverage required by the state of California and have your auto insurance company file an SR22 certificate with the California DMV

·     Go to the DMV and pay any fees or fines that you may have
