Sr22 is different in every state, so you have to contact your local law enforcement offices and find out exactly what has to be filed in order to process your Sr22. An Sr22 insurance policy generally says that you have liability insurance that is required for reinstatement after your drivers license has been taken away. You will generally have to carry SR22 insurance for 3 years after you drivers license has been suspended.
